One of the most brilliant players who ever graced the football pitch.
In 1988, as a German fan of Ruud I had to suffer a lot when the Netherlands beat Germany in the EURO and became European Champion on our terrain.
There was always a very tense rivalry between Germany and the Netherlands in football. But I couldn’t help to love Ruud Gullit.
Also, I always admired Ruud’s political work and his outspoken personality.
